Road Safety Coffee Morning

29th July 2014

On Monday 21st July the School Council presented their Traffic Safety posters to a meeting about the traffic congestion on Kingsbury Drive.   We told the parents and the councillors about our ideas on how to reduce the traffic and congestion outside of school.  We suggested walking, scooting to school or parking further away and walking.  All of these ideas would keep children and parents healthy.  Parents and the Council discussed what they could do to keep the road as safe as possible.  A ‘park and stride’ has been arranged from the Beacon Pub and the car wash on Beechdale Road for parents to park and then walk to school.  The parents, Council and School Council are going to meet again on 19th September at 9am in the school hall.
