Tuesday 10th February was Safer Internet Day. We ran lessons, activities and parent workshops throughout the day aimed at making sure the children and their families knew how to stay safe online.

This is what 3EN got up to.

We started off by discussing what we already knew about E-safety and shared our ideas with each other. After this we had a work shop with Mr Holland where we thought about the sorts of ways we accessed the internet and whether all of the games we were playing were appropriate. The class then split into groups and roleplayed some of the dangers they could come across on the internet.

We then had an assembly where Miss Lander showed us a video about stranger danger and how you don’t always know who you’re talking to online. It told children to never give out personal details and to always tell an adult if they aren’t sure about something they’ve seen online.

After this we answered some e safety quizzes on CBBC and created posters with top tips for E-safety!
